Outdoor enthusiasts dreaming of summer will find everything they’re daydreaming about at the 2010 Calgary Boat and Sportsmen’s Show kicking off Thursday, February 4 at BMO Centre in Stampede Park.

The 2010 Calgary Boat and Sportsmen’s Show is 250,000 square feet of the latest boats, personal watercraft, accessories and camping, fishing and outdoor gear. That’s 50,000 square feet more than last year, making this show the largest outdoor show in Southern Alberta.

Saturday, February 6 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sunday, February 7 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Daily Admission: $12.00 for Adults
$8.00 for Juniors (ages 6-15)
$9.00 for Seniors (over 65)
$30.00 for a family pass (2 Adults and 2 Juniors)
FREE for those under 6 years of age, when accompanied by an Adult.

This year’s exciting features include:
Fishing Presentation Pool and Hunting Seminar Stage
The Fishing Demonstration Pool and Hunting Seminar Stage will feature a series of seminars provided by some of the best outdoorsmen in North America. T.J. Schwanky and Richard Mellon (co-hosts of Outdoor Quest Television), Claudio Ongaro (an expert hunter and fisherman), and Brad Fenson (outdoor photographer and animal caller extraordinaire) will present entertaining and interactive hour-long segments on topics ranging from ice fishing to big game hunting.

DockDogs
New to the 2010 Calgary Boat and Sportsmen’s Show are the DockDogs! This high-flying event sees dogs and owners compete for the position of the Big Air Dog! Known as the “Long Jump for Dogs”, the dog with the longest leap off the end of a dock takes home the prize. As seen on ESPN, the Outdoor Channel and ABC, this sport is growing in popularity worldwide. Even better, any dog and owner can compete!

Spring Boat Super Show and Sale
